More Yemeni Children Die
On November 2, Yemeni children continued to die of starvation and disease as aid workers and trucks were blocked at the border. The UN is predicting that if this continues, 14 million people will be affected by famine in the country. (Reuters)

79 School Children Kidnapped
On November 5, armed men in Cameroon kidnapped 79 school children. Officials are moderating the release of the children. (Reuters)

Buildings Collapse in Marseille
On November 6, at least four people died after buildings in Marseille collapsed. The cause of the collapse is unknown and rescuers are still searching for survivors. (CNN)

Kidnappers Free Students
On November 7, the kidnappers in Cameroon freed 80 children and the bus driver. The kidnappers are currently still holding the principal and a teacher. Students told their parents that the attackers warned them not to return to school. (Reuters)

Sri Lanka’s President Moves to Dismantle Parliament
On November 9, Sri Lanka’s President Sirisena attempted to dissolve parliament in hopes of replacing the Prime Minister. This decision will lead to an election in January, but it can still be challenged by the Supreme Court. (BBC)

Somalia Suicide Attack
On November 9, two suicide bombers and gunmen attacked a popular hotel in Somalia. The attack killed 39 people and injured another 40, but people are still missing so this toll is expected to rise. Shabaab claimed responsibility for this attack.. (Reuters)

Strawberry Needle Suspect Arrested
On November 11, Australian police arrested a woman in connection to the needles found in strawberries earlier this year. Authorities are attempting to increase the penalty for food tampering. (CNN)

Suicide Bombing in Kabul
On November 20, as many religious scholars gathered in Kabul, a bomb exploded, killing at least 43 people and injuring another 83. The gathering was to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. The attack is said to be terrorism, but no group has claimed responsibility. (BBC)

Bermuda Reverses Gay Marriage Ban
On November 23, legislation banning gay marriage was ruled unconstitutional by Bermuda’s top-court. The appeal faces one final vote. (Reuters)

Uganda Boat Capsizes
